Feminist Physiology in Motion: Redefining Fitness in Longmont
I have a concept…It’s the idea that how we move and how our bodies function are deeply shaped by systems. Not just muscles, hormones, or joints, but by culture, gender expectations, and lived experience.
In my work as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and parent in Longmont, CO, I teach people how to move differently-- with with agency, curiosity, and body literacy. Movement as a tool for autonomy, to connect and dare I say, captivate yourself. I let my clients make space for the emotional physiology of movement- how strength, rest, and energy ebb and flow with hormones, stress, and identity.
I program strength training and recovery through a lens of inclusivity, body awareness, and self-compassion while coaching discipline. I also use neuroscience and movement education to deconstruct internalized narratives about what “fit” or “strong” should look like.
Feminist physiology in motion is about training with your body, not against it. It’s honoring hormonal shifts, energy changes, and emotional rhythms as part of your physiology — not flaws to fix. It’s strength, rest, and mobility designed for real bodies in real life. Because when you move with awareness, you reclaim your power.
At Luna Revival, I’m conceptualizing feminist physiology in motion.
Not just an exercise philosophy, a reframe of what fitness can be when we stop comparing ourselves to others and start honoring the physiology that makes us unique.
When you train with me, you’ll move with intention. You’ll lift weights and build strength (hell yeah), but you’ll also learn how to sync your movement with you life and body’s natural cycles- from menstruation to pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause. You’ll understand what your body needs, but what social media says it should do.
My clients come to me because they are tired. Tired of restriction, guessing, chasing results that don’t feel good. They are curious about their bodies and lifestyles and want guidance on how to feel strong, confident, and calm. They want workouts that meet the where they are, and they don’t want to think about it when their mental load is already so high.
Whether you’re looking for personal training in Longmont, a supportive group fitness class, or guidance in prenatal and postpartum movement, you’ll find it at Luna Revival. Together, we build strength that lasts - the kind that starts with your nervous system and radiates into every part of your life.
Feminist physiology in motion isn’t about working harder. It’s about channeling what you already have; moving smarter, honoring your body, and reclaiming your power.
